Cookie Policy

This policy lists every cookie and browser-storage item the PharmacyIQ platform at app.pharmacyiq.co uses, what each is for and how long it lasts. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

1. The short version

PharmacyIQ uses only strictly necessary cookies: the ones that keep you signed in, keep your account secure and keep an order you are building. We use no advertising or analytics trackers: no ad pixels, no third-party analytics and no session recording. Because there are no non-essential cookies, there is nothing to opt in to, and no cookie banner.

No cookie or browser-storage item holds patient information.

2. Cookies the platform sets

All of these are first-party, are sent only over HTTPS and are never shared with other websites. The ones named piq_ cannot be read by page scripts.

piq_session

Keeps you signed in and records your last activity so we can sign you out when idle.

Lasts: Until you sign out, close the browser or are signed out for inactivity

Sign-in tokens

Set by our authentication system to prove who you are to the database on each request.

Lasts: While you are signed in

piq_mfa_pending

Remembers that you entered your password while you finish two-step sign-in.

Lasts: 10 minutes

piq_cart

Holds the order you are building so it survives a page reload.

Lasts: 8 hours

piq_attr

Records which PharmacyIQ representative's signup link brought your clinic, so the right person is credited.

Lasts: 60 days

Support session

Set only when PharmacyIQ support staff view or assist an account, to mark and time-limit that session.

Lasts: 30 minutes to 2 hours

3. Preferences stored in your browser

A few display preferences are kept in your browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie. They never leave your device.

Whether you prefer the side menu expanded or collapsed, and which groups are open.

Whether you browse the catalog as a grid or a list.

4. Cookies set by our providers

  • Payment form. On billing pages, our payment processor’s secure card and bank form may set its own cookies to prevent fraud.
  • Bot check. On sign-in, signup, password reset and other public forms, our bot-protection check may use a cookie strictly needed to tell people from bots.

Both are security measures, not trackers. The providers are named in the Privacy Policy.

5. Our marketing website

Our marketing website at pharmacyiq.co sets no cookies of its own and has no trackers. It loads its typefaces from a third-party font service, which receives your IP address and browser details (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Your choices
